This course introduces students to the basic concepts and components associated with industrial robotic systems. The course will give students an understanding of where robotic systems fit in an automated production ecosystem. The course will also explore automated manufacturing techniques. Some examples of those include additive manufacturing on 3D printers and subtractive manufacturing on CNC lathes and mills.
