This course builds on the foundational cutting techniques learned in Cut Hair 1 and advances students’ skills in executing layered, graduated, and textured haircuts across all hair types. Students will explore how to adapt design techniques to diverse textures, densities, and client preferences through thoughtful application and creative problem-solving. Students will apply their understanding of cutting theory, tool use, body positioning, and design principles to refine both technical accuracy and creativity. Practical focus areas include uniform layer and graduated cuts, introductory barbering techniques, curly hair cutting, and advanced texturizing techniques. Learners will also develop consultation strategies and gain confidence in shaping cuts.
